Samsung was the first company to launch Samsung Galaxy Fold, the phone which was available with new Ultra-fast 3.0 storage. According to the sources, OnePlus is all set to take the lead and is going to be the first one available with the new storage type by releasing its new phone OnePlus 7 Pro. OnePlus is coming to the market from 14th May onwards.
The CEO of OnePlus Pete Lau tweeted this morning saying that they have upgraded the upcoming handset OnePlus 7 with UFS 3.0 storage. According to his tweet, it might be possible that the regular OnePlus 7 can also be equipped with UFS 3.0 storage. In any case, it is quite clear that the new upcoming handset of OnePlus will run at a fast speed.
A lot of you people might be wondering what UFS 3.0 is. It is the storage you find in the phones which is entrenched internally, although this UFS 3.0 is the updated one and one of the creative versions. After using the UFS 3.0, your phone speed will get double in comparison to the older version top-tier UFS 2.1 storage. Now this means whatever you are doing on your phone you can do it at a faster speed.
A 20x regular microSD card can run at a speed of 2100MB/s on UFS 3.0 and 4x a SATA SSD drive. The correct speed is up to 410MB/s, which is increased by 50% in comparison to the previous UFS version.
